On the train to Warsaw.

We rode the train from Berlin to Warsaw today. Poland is a very pretty country with a lot of farmland. Warsaw has a lot of traffic! The Old Town is very pretty. It was rebuilt to look like the original after World War II.

Made it with no missed connections. We did have to move it through the Minneapolis airport to make the flight to Amsterdam. Once we arrived in Berlin we met our tour guide, Elena. We took a short bus tour, checked in to the Hotel Ibis, then rode the train to one of the old Jewish sections of the city. Very surreal that we are where so much history occurred.

In the Tulsa airport waiting for a delayed flight. This is after finding out we were on a nonexistent flight from Amsterdam to Berlin. Apparently we were walking from Prague to Paris!

Day before

I keep thinking of things I need to remember. I need to get batteries and clear off both SD cards.

2 days--I've been packing. It seems like there are ton of things to do, but I am a slow starter...

Down to 5 days.  I am ready to start packing!  Worked today on our Holocaust Suitcases for our curriculum unit to go with our grant.  Soon we'll be posting pictures and seeing places that I never thought that I'd get to see!
